Actual Customer Savings

The customer was looking to save money on cutting oil purchases.  Their premium cutting oil saved them 30% on their tool life and using less expensive oil was not an option.  EdjeTech Services suggested our SOF FPB1105P PORTABLE BAG\CARTRIDGE CANISTER UNIT to remove bulk solids with the bag filter and remove fine solids down to 3 micron with the cartridge filter, as well as, remove trace amounts of moisture to rejuvenate their oil.

After having the unit in service for five months, the customer noticed no difference in oil performance between the filtered oil and new oil, they reduced their overall new oil purchases by more than 50%, and the unit paid for itself in four months.  The customer’s SWISS machining department realized an 89% decrease in new oil purchases which amounted to over $20,000.00 in savings for that department alone.
