How EdjeTech Coolant Filtration Systems Work
EdjeTech's coolant filtration
systems (C.R.O.S.S.) are
liquid/sold and liquid/liquid
separation systems that use the
best balance of filtration.
To filter coolants with one of our
systems, the operator discharges the
contaminated fluid into the dirty fluid
tank. The tramp oil separator (also
known as an oil water separator)
processes the fluid in the dirty fluid
tank then discharges the clean fluid
into the clean fluid tank. The fluid is
aerated by cascading over the dividing
wall between the clean and dirty tank.
This completes one batch. This process
is done continually to maintain the
fluid. The coolant proportioner will
automatically discharge premixed fluid
into the dirty tank to maintain the
coolant concentration and keep an
adequate supply of fluid on hand at all
times.
Benefits
Our coolant filtration systems reduce:
The system payback is typically 3 to
9 months. Stop throwing away your coolant
The EdjeTech C.R.O.S.S. removes tramp
oil to less than 1/4 of 1% by volume,
suspended solids to acceptable levels,
maintains adequate supply of clean
coolant at ALL TIMES, free-oil removed
by the system has less than 2% water
content, operates automatically, minimal
maintenance, and is a compact, self
contained system.
